Where is Calderdale?

Calderdale lies on the border between West Yorkshire and Lancashire. Its largest town is Halifax. Smaller towns such as Hebden Bridge and Todmorden lie in the Calder Valley surrounded by the 'rolling hills' of the South Pennines.

The borough is divided into 17 wards with each ward represented by three councillors.

There is an estimated 200,000 people living in Calderdale.
